Next Festival

bang! short Film Festival returns in November.

bang! showcases the freshest new filmmakers twice a year at the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham, highlighting the best of what's out there : animation, drama, documentary, comedy, anything goes, this is two days of the edgiest shorts from the city, the region and beyond.

Star Spotting

Many of the short films screened by us at bang! have been made by directors and writers who have gone on to feature film success - Shane Meadows - "Dead Man's Shoes", Chris Cooke "One for the Road" and Simon Ellis - who has a major new film in development as we speak. This is the place to come to catch the stars of tomorrow.
