New Section - HEdge is a galleryesque space for artist based films exploring the medium - conceptual, abstract, silent; anything goes! ng-magazine came to bang! and made a rather groovy video about it. bang! short film festival![]() Submissions are now closed Mayhem screenings of Shorts from up and coming filmmakers from the region and beyond! Special Screening of new Brit Horror WILDERNESS at 9pm. Late Bar at Broadway til 12am and later, reduced price drinks for all attending Mayhem at Muse on Broad Street where the shorts will be screened again, plus DJ! We've got a great selection of the weird, wonderful and bizarre from the region's hottest horror directors. Joe Atom and Magic Dan deliver the most warped promo you'll see, Steve Shiel will have all eye-horror fans squirming in their seats with his grim, Edgar Allan Poe tinged Through A Vulture Eye, Andy Brand delivers shocks galore in his haunting little tale End in Tears, The Turrell Twins are back with a crazy epic of affable psychopathic tendancies, The Weight, Nathan Hughes sends one man on a nightmare journey in Terminal, you can't escape from hell in the twisted Strix and there are so many, many more shorts to make you shudder. We will keep you posted on news as it comes in, but these terrifying slices of terror and a feature film first with the grim and grissly feature Wilderness should make for a great night out... but keep hold of your tickets and join us all at Muse til 2.00am for special offers on drinks, DJ and a chance to have your retinas burnt by our collection of short, sharp, shocks projected upstairs at one of Nottingham's hottest new venues.
