Our friend and colleague Andy Brand has now left the bang! short film festival team to take up his position in the A.D. department for the feature film currently being shot in and around Nottingham - Control directed by Anton Corbin. It's the story of Joy Division's front man Ian Curtis, played by Sam Riley and his tragic death as told by his wife, played by Samantha Morton. The film also stars Toby Kebbell. We wish Andy the best of luck and hope he really enjoys his first feature film making experience!
After he finishes this production, Andy will then take a year out and travel around the entire world - Wow how exciting! On his return in late 2007 he is moving to London.
The bang! festival team would like to thank Andy for all of his hard work on the festival over the last 5 years - Thanks mate - We will really miss you, but have an amazing time and keep in touch! We love you man XXX
