Bang! Short Film Festival based at Broadway Cinema, Nottingham, remains the most exciting venue to spot the filmmaking talent of tomorrow, mix with the best in home grown talent and immerse yourself in a wide range of innovative new work.

Running for nearly seven years, Bang! Has grown and grown and this March it sees Nottingham link up with Venice Beach California, presenting a showcase of Nottingham's freshest films to an excited and already sold out American audience at : The Other Venice Film Festival 2006

One For The Road by Chris Cooke Chris Cooke's critically acclaimed feature One for the Road, starring Hywell Benett and Nottingham actress Micaiah Dring, made and set in the city, will screen alongside The Brick by upcoming local animator Max Crow and What The..? By Simon Ellis already a festival hit around the world.
The Brick is a timely moral tale about the abuse of power, wittily put together for an incredibly low budget on Crow's home computer, critically praised, this is its first venture to the US of A. The Brick by Max Crow
What The ... ? by Simon Ellis What The...? Is an hilarious ten minutes in the life of one persecuted man destroyed by television reality infringing into real life.

The L.A. event is already sold out... BUT, you can still catch three exciting events over the weekend of April 22nd and 23rd 2006.

The B.B.C. also did a wee feature as well as The L.A. Times.
