A group of asylum seekers have got together to create two films ... about asylum seekers. The project was coordinated by Bang! and gave the participants a chance to reveal how asylum seekers are viewed in this area.

The films were showcased at Bang! in September 2004. The 9 minute drama, entitled 'Those letters that should be received', is a story of two friends, one a refugee herself, that get together to send toys to the world's trouble zones, only to find there is no post there... The 12 minute documentary entitled 'Asylum Seekers - Through the Headlines' focused on the media coverage and public perception of Asylum Seekers in this area.
