Sarmad Masud's directortorial debut at Bang! was the excellent 'Even Heroes Die' in April 2003 and since then he has brought us a wonderful body of work that surprises and delights with story telling magic. Born in Nottingham, Sarmad graduated from Hull School of Art and Design.

'An Indian Restaurant' draws on Sarmad's experiences working in the restaurant business and he reflects in the film the divide between staff and customers.
